Add New Channel: Video Channel

Create a customized video channel on your website using LYNX Video’s intuitive interface. Follow these steps to add a new channel:

Channel Options

  • Navigate to Video Channels: In your WordPress dashboard, go to the “LYNX Videos” menu and click on the “Video Channels” submenu.
  • Add New Channel: Click on the “Add New” button at the top of the “LYNX Video Channels” page.
  • Channel Title: Enter a title for your channel.
  • Channel Options:
    • Profile Image: Upload a profile image for your channel.
    • Channel Art: Upload channel art for your channel’s page.
    • Social/Custom Links: Add social media or custom links for your channel.
      • Link Source: Define the source of the link (e.g., Facebook, Twitter).
      • Icon: Select an icon for the link.
      • Link/URL: Insert the link or URL.
      • Click on the “+ Add” button to add more links.
    • About Channel: Provide a description of your channel.
    • Add Featured Channels: Select existing channels to feature on your channel’s page.

Featured Sections

  • Add a Featured Video: Choose a video post to display as the featured video on your channel page.

Video Section

  • Default Section: Toggle switch to enable or disable this section.
  • Default Section Layout: Choose between “List” and “Grid” layouts for displaying videos.
    • List: Display videos and details horizontally.
    • Grid: Display videos and details in a grid view.
  • Section Title: Define the title for this section.

Community Section

  • Community Section: Toggle switch to enable or disable the community section.
  • Section Title: Define the title for the community section.

Add More Section

  • Click on the “+ Add” button to add more sections to your channel page.
  • Section Title: Insert the title of this section.
  • Section Items: Choose one option from “Videos“, “Playlists“, and “Embeds“.
    • Videos: Add single videos to this section.
    • Playlists: Add playlist videos to this section.
    • Embeds: Add embedded videos to this section.
  • Section Layout: Select one option from “List” and “Grid” for the layout of this section.
  • Configure the rest of the options based on your selection in “Section Items“.
  • Repeat this process to add additional sections to your channel page.

Channel Verification

  • Just Toggle Switch the button to make verified or unverified the channel

Publish Channel

  • Publish: Click on the “Publish” button to save your new video channel.
