Misc (Miscellaneous) Section: Classic Editor, Table of Content, Cookie Consent & More..

In the Misc Section, you can find the Miscellaneous Settings options fields like Classic Post Editor/ Classic Widget Editor switchers, Blockquotes Design, Table of content ,No Image Placeholder, Loading Placeholder, Cookie Consent with options to choose different Templates and Dark Mode Switcher.

To navigate the Miscellaneous Settings, Go to Theme Options → Misc.

1. Post (Block) Editor

This is the post editor switcher option field to switch the Classic or Gutenberg Editor.

If you opt for the classic path, reveal additional options:

  • ‘Post Types‘: Choose where to wield your classic magic – Posts, Pages, or both.

2. Widget (Block) Editor

Toggle between Classic and Block Editor with the ‘Classic Editor’ switcher option.

3. Blockquotes Design

Blockquotes design for the single post, page’s content

  1. Pick your style with ‘Blockquotes Design.‘
  2. Select one from four inbuilt templates as your preference.

4. Table of content

The Table of Contents (TOC) feature in V-Blogs Creative Theme simplifies navigation by organizing content into a clickable list. Users can choose a specific heading tag (e.g., h2) to generate an automatic TOC, facilitating easy access to different sections of a webpage.

  1. Enable or disable the ‘Table of Content‘ with a simple switch.
  2. Tailor it to your liking:
    • Table of content headline: Choose a title for the Table of Content.
    • Grab content from specific heading tags (h1 to h6): Choose the heading tag to generate the Table of Content (TOC) list. For instance, if you select the H2 tag, the system automatically collects all H2 tags from the post content and compiles them into a Table of Content. Clicking on an item in the TOC list smoothly scrolls you to the corresponding section in the actual content.
    • Table of content placement inside post content: Modify to display table of content posts before x number of paragraph. For Example if you insert 3 then table of content box will be injected to the content before 2 paragraphs.

5. Dark Mode Switcher

  1. Bring the night with the ‘Dark Mode Switcher.’
  2. Light or dark, the theme adapts to your preference.

6. No Image Placeholder

This options provide your posts to setup a default image if you didn’t upload/set featured image.

  • Choose no image placeholder images from available options.
  • Or, Choose from four preset placeholders or upload your custom placeholder.

7. Loading Placeholder

  1. The placeholder dance – image or CSS? Take your pick.
  2. Customize the loading experience with various options.

8. Cookie Consent

The VBC Theme has pre-built cookie consent box, you can simply enable it by switching on button.

Cookie Consent Settings:
  1. Cookie consent box title: Modify the cookie consent box title.
  2. Cookie note: Modify cookie note as your preferences.
  3. Cookie Button: Modify the button text
  4. Cookie Expiry: The cookie consent box will be appears after the inserted days after accepted the cookie.
Advance Settings:

You can enable advance settings for more cookie customization options.

  1. Switch on the button to enable it.
  2. Modify the title.
  3. Setup the button text.
  4. Modify or add new Cookie Types
