The Home Page Section offers versatile options to design your homepage. With the Blocks section, you can create various layouts using a flexible repeater field. The Featured Section allows you to highlight specific content in different ways, including pre-built templates, background options, and content positioning. The Layout Settings section enables you to personalize your homepage with default or custom layouts, adjusting container width and post headings. These features help you create a visually appealing and functional homepage tailored to your website’s needs.
Featured Section
- Featured Section Switcher :
- Enable this switch to activate the Featured Section on your homepage.
- Featured Templates:
- Choose from 8 prebuilt home page featured templates. Each template includes image previews to help you select the desired layout.
- Add Featured Section Background (Optional):
- This field allows you to add a background to your Featured Section.
- For templates 5 and 6, you can add a background with gradient colors or an image.
- Transparent header: Enable this option if you want a transparent header for your Featured Section.
- Video background: This option is available for templates 5 and 6.
- To add a video background, you need to upload and enable the “LYNX Add-ons” plugin, enable LYNX Video, and create a proper video post for the Featured Section.
- Featured Content Position:
- Choose the position of your featured content: left-to-right (LTL), center, or right-to-left (RTL).
- Featured Section Slider Switcher:
- Enable this switch to activate a slider in the Featured Section.
- Slider Autoplay : Enable autoplay for the slider.
- Autoplay Delay: Set the duration in milliseconds for each slide during autoplay.
- Features options for featured templates 1, 2, 3, and 4:
- Featured Content Type: Choose between “Dynamic posts” and “Static (custom)” for your featured content.
- Dynamic posts: Select this option if you want the featured content in the Featured Section to be dynamically fetched based on the settings below, such as posts or videos.
- Static (custom): Select this option if you want to manually add and display specific content in the Featured Section without dynamic fetching.
- Dynamic Posts Options:
- Featured Section By: Select whether your dynamic posts will be based on “Posts” or “Videos.”
- And simply fill others fields as prompted there.
- Static (Custom) Options:
- Add Featured Contents : Use the repeater field to add multiple custom featured contents.
- Title: Insert the title of the featured content.
- Upload Image : Upload an image for the featured content.
- Link: Insert the link for the featured content.
- Repeat this action to add more featured content.
- Add Featured Contents : Use the repeater field to add multiple custom featured contents.
- Featured Content Type: Choose between “Dynamic posts” and “Static (custom)” for your featured content.
Layout Settings Section
The Layout Settings section allows you to customize the layout of your homepage. You can choose between two options: “Latest Posts” or “Custom Layout.”
- Layout Choose (Option Field):
- Latest Posts: Select this option to display a layout that showcases your recent or latest posts. This layout includes features such as AJAX load more and number pagination, offering various grid and list-style layouts.
- For detailed configuration of your layout, you can visit the “Archive Layout Settings“ or click the provided link.
- Custom Layout: Choose this option to create a custom layout for your homepage. This option enables you to customize the layout further.
- Selecting the Custom Layout option enables the Blocks section, which allows you to add and customize various blocks on your homepage.
- Latest Posts: Select this option to display a layout that showcases your recent or latest posts. This layout includes features such as AJAX load more and number pagination, offering various grid and list-style layouts.
- Home Page Container Width: This option allows you to set the width of your homepage’s container in pixels. You can adjust the container size according to your preferences. Note that this setting does not affect the width of the header and footer containers.
- Latest Post Heading: If you choose the Custom Layout option, you can use this field to insert or modify the heading/title for the latest posts section.
