Step 1: Purchase and Download
- If you haven’t already, purchase the V-Blogs Creative Theme from Themeforest.
- After purchase, navigate to your Themeforest account and go to the Downloads section to get the theme files.
Step 2: Extract the Downloaded File
- Once downloaded, you’ll receive a ZIP file. Extract it to reveal the theme files and documentation.
Step 3: Install via WordPress Dashboard
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Navigate to ‘Appearance‘ and then ‘Themes.’
- Click ‘Add New,’ followed by ‘Upload Theme.’
- Choose the ZIP file you extracted earlier and click ‘Install Now.’
- After installation, activate the theme.
Step 4: Install via FTP (Optional)
- If you prefer FTP, connect to your server using an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla).
- Navigate to the ‘wp-content/themes/’ directory.
- Upload the V-Blogs Creative theme folder into the ‘themes’ directory.
- Activate the theme in the WordPress dashboard.
Step 5: LYNX Core (Required) Plugin Installation
- After installation, you’ll be prompted to install and active LYNX Core Plugin, which has the core functionalities of the VBC theme.
Step 6: Theme Activation
- After LYNX Core Plugin installation, you’ll be prompted to activate your theme. Use the purchase code provided with your Themeforest purchase to activate the theme.
Step 7: Install and Activate LYNX Add-ons Plugin
- Go to Appreance->VBC Plugins in your dashboard menu bar,
- Just install and activate LYNX Add-ons plugin
Step 8: Select A Template
- You need to select a proper website template.
- Go to V-Blogs Creative->Templates and pick up an appropriate template for your site
Step 6: Import Demo Content (Optional)
- To make your site look like the demo, you can import demo content.
- After selecting a template, you can find “Import Demo” button there, Clicking on that button navigates you to demo import page.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to import demo data.
Step 7: Configure Additional Theme Settings
- Visit the ‘Theme Options‘ panel in the WordPress dashboard.
- Visit the ‘Template Options‘ panel in the WordPress dashboard.
- Customize settings such as layout, colors, fonts, and more to match your preferences.
Step 8: Create Essential Pages
- Build essential pages such as Home, Blog, Contact, etc., using the theme’s page builder or default WordPress editor.
Step 9: Set Permalinks
- Go to ‘Settings‘ and then ‘Permalinks‘ to set up your preferred URL structure for better SEO.
Step 10: Update Plugins (If Required)
- Check if any recommended plugins need updating. Navigate to ‘Plugins’ in the WordPress dashboard and update if necessary.
