LYNX Contact Form: SMTP/Mail Settings

The SMTP/Mail Settings in LYNX Contact Form allow you to configure the email server settings for sending emails from your website. Whether you’re using Gmail or another SMTP server, this guide will help you set up the necessary configurations.

Configuring SMTP/Mail Settings

  1. SMTP Server:
    • Choose either “Gmail” or “Other” as your SMTP server.
  2. Gmail:
    • If you choose Gmail, you can easily set up your SMTP mail integration with your Gmail account.
      • Gmail Address: Insert your Gmail address.
      • App Password: Insert your 16-character Gmail app password. Learn more about creating a Gmail app password.
      • Your Name: Insert your name as the email sender.
      • Add CC (optional): Insert CC email addresses.
      • Add BCC (optional): Insert BCC email addresses.
  3. Other:
    • If you choose “Other,” you should have an email server and configure the settings accordingly. Contact your email provider to get your SMTP mail configuration details and insert them into the fields.
  4. Mail Recipient Details:
    • Click on the “Add recipient” button to add recipient email addresses.
      • Name: Insert the recipient’s name.
      • Email: Insert the recipient’s email address.
    • Repeat this process to add more multiple recipients.
