Video Block

It is essential to add a Section::(Block Wrapper) before starting and breaking other blocks to ensure proper arrangement and functionality.

This Video Block is an essential part of “LYNX Add-ons” plugin, so to enable this option, you need to install and activate the “LYNX Add-ons” plugin and enable Video. Additionally, you should create the video posts before customizing this block.

This block is specifically designed for creating video websites, but it can be used in all types of websites as a versatile block.

Video Block Settings

Featured Video Section

Featured video section switcher: Enable or disable the section.

After enabling the featured video section, the following options fields appear:

  1. Video section title: Enter the video section title.
  2. Video section title hide and show: Show or hide the section title in the front-end.
  3. Video block load more button: Enable or disable the load more button.
  4. Video layouts: Choose between grid view and list view.
  5. Video column select: Select either 3 or 4 columns.
  6. Video display order: Choose between descending, ascending, and random order.

Featured Community Post Section

Featured community post section switcher: Enable or disable the section.

After enabling the featured community post section, the following options fields appear:

  1. Community post section title: Enter the community post section title.
  2. Community post section title show/hide: Show or hide the section title in the front-end.
  3. Community post block Next/prev buttons: Enable or disable the next/previous buttons for navigating through community posts.
  4. Community post display order: Choose between descending, ascending, and random order for displaying community posts.

Add More Video Section

  • The “Add more video section” field is built with repeater fields, which appear after clicking the “Add Video Section+” button.
  • After clicking the “Add Video Section+” button, the following options fields appear:
    • Video section title: Enter the video section title.
    • Video section title hide and show: Show or hide the section title in the front-end.
    • Video block load more button: Enable or disable the load more button for additional videos.
    • Video layouts: Choose between grid view and list view for the video layout.
    • Video column select: Select either 3 or 4 columns for displaying videos.
    • Video items type: Choose between “Videos” or “Playlists” for the type of video content to display.
      • If “Videos” is chosen, the following fields appear:
        • Videos By: Choose between Custom Selection, Video categories, Video Hash Tags, and Popularity/view counts to determine how videos are selected.
        • Add Videos: Select specific video posts to display.
      • If “Playlists” is chosen, the following field appears:
        • Add Playlists: Select video playlist posts to display.

This process allows you to add multiple video blocks with different settings with “Add Video Section+” button.
